Halloween Treat Bags

I had this whole post all typed out MONTHS ago and somehow Blogger lost it and I was too tired to type it again. But here we go...

I made little treat bags for my co-workers, mostly because I wanted to use my heat embossing wand.

Each person got a personalized bag, Brains in a Jar, an eyeball on a fork, smaller bag of chocolate eyeballs. I made a cute tag and attached to the eyeball on a fork. I wish I could have found a nice treat bag to stick the eyeballs in, but I had to make do.

Pictures were taken at work with my phone, don't judge. Like I usually have such great pictures.

Bag tutorial here, Brains in a Jar recipe and tags here, eyeballs on a stick (Oreo truffles) here.

Fall Fashion Inspiration

This lovely photograph (The Pause that Refreshes by CarolynCochrane on Etsy) is so inspirational to me for my fall wardrobe. Pretty, spare and such lovely hints of plums, greys and ivories.

A Lovely Loft

If you haven't seen it yet, I wanted to turn your attention to the Sneak Peek over at Design*Sponge today.

The loft is a converted 1800's plow factory in Atlanta. There are over ONE THOUSAND panes of glass and is now used by the owners as a guest house and photograph studio.

What a beautiful space. It's not a place I would feel comfortable living, but I think it is just a dream to look at.

Beautiful Books

So, I know these have been out for a while, but I wanted to turn your attention to them in case you didn't know.

Penguin recently came out with a set of clothbound classics for children (we have a set of their "adult" classics), which are available exclusively at Anthropologie. Unfortunately, they are not available online any longer, so RUN to your nearest Anthro and pick some up for your neice, nephew, son, daughter, brother, sister or inner child. I'm definitely going tomorrow to see what they have left.

Available titles are:

The Secret Garden
Anne of Green Gables
The Adventures of Robin Hood
Peter Pan
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
The Wind in the Willows
